What exciting things are going on at the Horizon Centers? It is time to fight the blues and get out and come see some new friends as well as your old faithful friends. There is so much to look out for this month. We have some new activities such as Matter of Balance, Walk with Ease, and many are looking forward to the day trips that Crystala is planning. We have many of the old faithful activities also such as Bingo, Music and a Meal, and cards that you can still come in and be a part of. Winter is a good time to get out and about if you can so you can check in with your friends to see how they are doing since holidays are over and families go back to their busy and hectic lives. We feel the Horizon Centers are like extended family. They notice if someone doesn’t show up to something that they usually do. We are fortunate to have a wonderful, caring staff that is always working hard to keep our seniors vibrant, moving, and safe. You can find that with our staff at the Shelbyville, Morristown, and Fairland centers. We are looking forward to opening our Waldron Horizon Center hopefully in March. If you are interested in any programs or activities, please call 317-398-0127 or drop by at 2120 Intelliplex Drive, Suite 101, Shelbyville. We look forward to seeing you soon!
