Morristown’s Kopper Kettle Is Coming to Shelbyville April 14 There is no need to leave town April 14 to have Morristown’s famous Kopper Kettle chicken. Dinners will be available for purchase at Shelby Senior Services, Inc. Leave The Horizon Center 5 p.m. Deadline: May 21.Trip to CHICAGO The Horizon Center-sponsored trip to Chicago is scheduled for May 11-13, but reservations are being accepted now to insure the trip will take place. A minimum of 32 travelers is required by Diamond Tours Inc. Total cost is $265 per person based on double occupancy. Call or stop by for details. Quilting Sessions If you want to learn to quilt, members of the Stitchin’ Sisters Quilting Club will give lessons in The Horizon Center on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the month at 1 p.m. Mary Bennett and Lolitta Hall will lead the sessions, however, other members will be on hand to provide individual instruction and guidance as needed. Learn to cut out fabric squares, connect them by machine, and by hand. Bring a sewing machine and cotton scrap material. Donations will be accepted. Line Dancing Thursdays, 9:30 a.m., basement of Grover Museum, 52 W. Broadway St. Crafts Channel your creativity every 4th Monday of the month at 2 p.m. in The Horizon Center. Ideas welcome.
